Through more investigation, I would like to add a kinetic element to the project that would not only create more variations of the piece but also allow the viewers to interact with the work. So far, I’d like to have a fixed lenticular behind the track then at least two movable layers of obstruction in front of the lenticular. In this piece, the obstructions would be on the kinetic layers rather than integrated in the lenticular. I think I’d like the subject matter to be of an environment rather than a person. It may add a nice layer of depth to make the lenticular 3D rather than a flip and utilize a movable lenticular lens to achieve this. This way, sometimes the picture is clear, and other times it’s blurry.
